    My Rolling Hem finally arrived!

Now I am watching this tutorial.

This lady stitches a scrap piece before rolling the hem of the intended fabric. I believe she said "we are stitching on thin air"

I am unable to understand the lady's accent. Can you elaborate?

Rolled hem or picot stitch is easy to do. You need to change the presser foot of your sewing machine. Insert the rolled hem foot. Adjust stitch length and width as per the fabric and then you can use any of the two methods to picot the edges of your dress.

But there are some tips to get a neat and tidy picot to finish. Check this video, it is detailed. I hope it helps you learn better. These tips will also help you 1 Picot Stitch Sewing Tip Without Using Pico Machine

That first video was really helpful.

Right now we are getting heavy rains and the lady's soothing voice actually lulled me to sleep, LOL. But very helpful video!
