    Hello Friends,

Thank you all who helped me in making a decision to get IVF done after struggling with infertility for so long.
I again need your help to understand and make decision on important part of this process that is whether or not to get PGT-A testing done (Embroy Biopsy and Genetic Study).

Has someone got this done during their IVF process and share their experience.
When i read it online it looks like Embryo has to go through a lot before it gets selected for implantation.

Please share your input and experiences.

    Thanks
    Shirli

It depends on your age and how many embryos you get.

I had the testing done. There is always a risk with freeze-thaw and embryo biopsy but if the lab is skilled at the procedure then the risks are minimized. What does your doctor suggest?

Thank you for letting me know that you got this procedure done.
My doctor is suggesting me to get it done i am thinking may be because i am 35 and had one miscarriage which i conceived naturally.

How was your experience. Hope you had a success with your treatment.

    Thank you

My doctor says they advise this procedure if you get a sufficient number of embryos: more than 3. But it will also depend on your individual case. I did have success eventually. I wish you best of luck for your treatment.
