Scattered White Hair! How To Apply Hair Dye?

    It made my day as my first trial worked.The greys turned dark brown not black and nicely camouflaged with the rest of the hair. No one can make out unless my hair is parted and observed closely.

    I heard the two step henna indigo gives complete black color, never tried though.

    Don't use salt for hair. I don't think henna makes hair rough.

    Yes, I have used the two-step process (first henna for 3 hours and then after washing hair out apply indigo for an hour, a day to a couple of weeks later) for many years and it does give jet black hair.

    I have also read that mixing henna and indigo together does not give black hair - but it does significantly save time - (3 hours or so rather than 5 hours or so) which is definitely better than exposing hair to chemical dyes. So my personal vote is to go for this - rather than chemical dyes.
