My Husband Brought Old Memories

Lock down has made my husband bored
Yesterday he was saying he will cut veg for today. Today I said going to make puri for dinner. He said he will knead the flour and roll it. So he only did and I only out in oil. He is making after twenty years as after my retirement I used to cook myself.This brought me memories of my working days when he used to help a lot.
He used to cut the vegetables
and help. He used to leave before me and come back before me .Evening only heating the food will be there so he used to do it. When I come home hot coffee will be ready. The neighbours used to envy me but they dont understand that I have to work at home and also in office and have to listen to the bosses.

Now a days Morning he will come to check the dishes I made and appreciate and also add salt if necessary

I used to have Saturday and Sunday off and he on Wednesdays. On Wednesdays he used to give oil bath to my kids ,plat daughters hair when n they were kids and also bring them to the station when I come from office

When I was going by contract bus first Navratri whole bus came home and he only made Idli and Rava Kesari. In my office my friends used to tease me saying made by Iyer or you.

Today he brought old memories
