Coronil and Corona and other diseases

Medicine Coronil the magical cure for Covid is out and is in news. But many do not know that there are many deaths happening for other ailments apart from Covid in India. India recorded 24 lakh TB cases and over 79000 deaths in 2019 roughly 20000 deaths every quarter. So today, Corona is not the killer disease as is believed. Hope there is a magical cure for other diseases or disorders.

    Delhi woes

Delhi overtakes Mumbai in Covid cases. Now Mumbai is at no.2 with lesser deaths.

Added to this is Pollution in Delhi with Pollutants from at least three air corridors
    (1. Pakistan, Punjab, Haryana – Chlorine bromine, selenium
    (2. Nepal and UP – Copper, cadmium, lead and sulphur
    (3. North east corridor – UP, Chromium, nicket, manganese
Late night 10 pm local time and morning hours between 3 am and 8 am are dangerous times.

Only good news is Rains are expected in 48 hours.

    Novel way of online learning

In India many students still don’t have smartphones but a village school in Jharkhand’s Dumka district has given distance learning a new spin by using strategically placed loudspeakers to reach out to students. Students get to hear their teachers loud and clear from the courtyard of a home, atop a terrace or wherever it is convenient for them to study without being disturbed.

    Border Woes.

Many families in India and Nepal living on the Nepal border are facing a difficult situation as their lives are linked with the two countries for their daily needs, jobs and even for education due to lockdown and border dispute. Its time people have to suffer but adjust to this New Normal with increasing border disputes amidst Corona. Corona or no Corona, the world is just the same with prejudices and ego battles.

I think there is one big difference. Covid is contagious and unlike pollution, poverty, TB and similar other pollution does not differentiate between rich and poor, black and white, Hindu or others.

    :hello:yes I am with you.
    2. Corona is "SHE" - can carry quickly & offload in any weather anywhere and she is beyond colour cast creed.
    3. She remains omnipotent, omnipresent, OMNISCIENT, OMNIVOROUS and an omnibus for all evil or unevil.

Yes but too much focus on Covid is causing neglect of healthcare of other cases which is a concern too

Corona is beyond caste and creed I agree
but we humans still associate it with poor, the labourers and certain communities
whereas the main carriers of the virus were those who came from other countries

It is true indeed that the world which includes India is busy in fighting tooth and nail the detestable novel corona virus since several months neglecting other healthcares. But over months - understanding of the virus and it’s spread among masses and the stages how it acts once it enters humans needed analytic of huge data collected at great peril.

    2. Scientists the world over, now Nearly after five months understood additional causes of death due to novel corona - the part or parts that get affected and cease to function in human resulting into fatal deaths . It is in stages only the virus understood better and naturally so the focus of the world rightly on it since last Dec 2019.*

    3. Today the world is somewhat in a better understanding and armed with multiple approaches of care, developed medicine and vaccines which are in various stages of human trials.

    4. The world and India had done strident studies in pollutions of various kind and developed technologies to reduce burden of carbon prints and a committee regularly meets annually to deliberate ways and means to diminish or and eliminate the effects of pollutions.

    5. The scientists are on right track with technology analytics of huge world COVID 19 data on virus spread, affected people and fatalities and utilising AI: therefore the goal of finding suitable medicine or and vaccine is in sight.

    Thanks and Regards.

Why is the CDC now reporting that COVID-19 does not spread easily from touching contaminated surfaces?

Ans. COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus disease that is continually being researched and new data is acquired, which is how science operates.According to a new report [1] from the U.S. CDC, surface exposure is not a particularly effective way for the virus to infect its host.

Fomites are objects that have become contaminated with infectious agents and serve in their transmission. Earlier reports [2] assessing coronavirus exposure risks associated with surface contact survival assumed that SARS-CoV-2 remained active outside of a host.

A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine revealed that the coronavirus can live on some surfaces [3] for up to three days and up to three hours while suspended in the air. Without intervention, the novel coronavirus could live on plastered walls and countertops for up to 36 hours. On plastic and stainless steel, this value was closer to 72 hours.

On milk containers, refrigerators, pots, pans, sinks, and detergent bottles SARS-Cov-2 remained stable for roughly two to three days. Although these early findings welcomed a certain degree of caution, it turns out that the viral load matters a lot more than the mere presence of a virus with respect to successful transmission.

It just does not spread easily from surfaces like the CDC and other studies are reporting, nor by animal-to-human contact or vice versa. It may be possible for COVID-19 to spread in other ways, but these are not thought to be the main ways the virus spreads.

The agency maintains that person to person contact is the most reliable way for the virus to spread. Unfortunately, COVID-19’s incubation period differs from similar respiratory illnesses caused by other coronavirus studied in the past. For a start, carriers are the most contagious while symptoms are still mild or before they even begin (asymptomatic).

During this window, infected individuals shed a considerable amount of viral debris often giving the virus to three people before recovery.

Contaminated surfaces and objects pose less risk because a single virus is not enough to overwhelm our immune system.

Many people were concerned that by simply touching an object they may get coronavirus, and that’s simply not the case. It doesn't live, never did, on surfaces as it isn'talive. Sars-CoV2 doesn't replicate on surfaces but may exist in droplet forms for awhile. Existence doesn't guarantee transmission, however.

Thanks for the elaborate details. The day we understand all the intricacies,no one will be left to be affected by corona!

    :hello:Madam sister you are welcome.
    2. The world and the humanity witnessed many such pandemics and the scientists found the remedies for many COVID like viruses in the previous century and more recently bird flu SARC virus. The past add to the conviction
that remedial measures and vaccine might be produced soon.
    3. Abhigyan predicted that humanity might face right from eve of Christmas to March ,31, 2021 - 108 days another far serious virus. That implies novel corona - COVID 19 would be on the vane after some time from now!
    Thanks and Regards.
