I got few strands of white hairs after a traumatic event. I thought my black hairs would return. They did not.

Now I see few strand of white hairs in other areas.

    1. I avoid processed foods - i.e. eat fruit, veggies, fish, chicken, keep hydrated.

    2. I soak scalp in amla oil once a week for at least two hours.

    3. I wash hair twice a week and condition with vatika oil.

    4. I exercise 3 hours daily, 6 days a week.

    5. Slowly I am building yoga routine. Hope to achieve safe headstand in a few years (because headstand makes blood flow to the scalp).

Please help. I am too young to get a single white strand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s your genetics and a normal part of the aging process.

I got white hair when I turned 38..couple of my friends had it from late 20s...my mom had it from 50s.. we can't connect ageing and white hair anymore.

    True --- genetics.

But I noticed white strands right after the trauma ---- might have been coincidence too.

Late 20s!!!! How did they cope? Did they dye it, or what. Goodness gracious!

2 of my friends started using organic henna and regular parlor treatment for touch ups. The other friend wears hijab so she is not bothered much ,occasional use of dye /indigo powder only. I guess people just get used to it with time.

If you are in late 30s/ early 40s, it is not too young/ unusual for start seeing grays. I am 41 and have had a few gray hair for last 2-3 years.

It is a normal part of growing older.

    How old are you?
These days with increased stress levels, pollution, fast lifestyle , chemical products and to a large extent genetics, it’s very common for women to have few white hair in their twenties itself...many of my classmates in college and few ex colleagues at work used to colour their hair in their twenties , I,e early twenties and mid twenties with hair colour or Henna as they had too many white hairs being obvious...
Almost all ladies I know in late twenties or early thirties have some white hairs..few of them have naturally black hair and few colour their hair regularly...
By mid thirties or late thirties it becomes very necessary to colour the hair regularly using colour or henna...
Some are genetically blessed in this aspect I.e their paternal or maternal line of family or both all may have very thick and good hair and black hair and may experience grating or thinning of hair maybe only in 50s or more... in such they also would be likely to have good hair...
Do continue with your good food and exercise habits and also try natural remedies maybe they’ll help..
