Ignored In The Group

Today is my friend's birthday and everyone wished her in the group. I also wished her and sent a birthday quote image.
She replied to everyone and thanked them but for my message she just put a <3 emoji.
It pinched me deep somewhere and I felt bad somehow. Am I wrong if i felt hurt by it? Should I forget it and continue normally?

you shouldn't be bothered about how she replied in a text. If she still talks and keep in touch like before, it is fine IMO.

She is always like this. For all others she will say thank you x you are so sweet, thanks y you are best, wow a your wishes are best till now, etc..but after my wishes she will say thanks everybody. And today she didnt even bother to say that much. Just put an emoji. During normal days she never acknowledge my messages.

This sort of thing has happened to me too..I just ignore..it so not worth overthinking, sometimes happens unintentionally, sometimes people do intentionally to sideline...it happened to me when i used to post or comment in social media friends groups...so gradually stopped frequency of commenting and stuck to formal birthday wishes only...a heart shaped smiley is ok for a close friends, would mean you’re special for her ...just leave it..if it really irritated you, you could reply in same fashion if this friend messages u in group!

Hi,
This happens a lot in group of friends. Especially when its a bigger group. I too feel left out most times. A conversation never goes further after my msg, but if someone else messages it goes forward.. I do feel bad every now and then..but most times since I know it would happen I would either ignore it or I just reduce the chat.. If they feel the difference they will get back to you, otherwise talk something behind your back. If its case 1 then good for you, if its case 2 then you dont have to bother because its behind your back..

And I am very sure in life sometimes there will be so much going on, you would actually appreciate them ignoring you for awhile

Dont really feel bad. You will find many more people in life who might not ignore you.

Its more common than you think.. So dont feel left out..Welcome to the party
