Hello A brief introduction to my self, I am not a brahmin but i am a Hindu. Please offer your explanation based on my introduction. Are reading slogas and stottarams more powerful then listening to them ? Are reading or listening sanskrit slokas and stottarams more superior than their regional language counterparts ? Sri Venkateshwara Suprabhatam and Vishnu Sahasranamam can be listened before getting bathed and doing pooja ? Shouldn't slokas be recited silently ? Should மூல மந்திரம் be recited silently ? Is there any time limit and time duration limit to complete our daily Pooja ?
Bhakti is about discipline and dedication. There is no rule thst if you do it this way only you get its benefit. Listening or reciting it doesnt matter nor does language. Usually people chant slokas after bath as mind is fresh and you can concentrate on God.
Simple ,simpler, simplest Logic. Why do we brush first thing in the morning?why do we fix up a time say 8 or 9 am togo to school office. We ourself train to follow fixed timing ,so that we can regularise our activities. Do things on time. Like that listing ,chanting certain mantras, exspecially with calm mind, Help us a lot .in concentrating. After taking bath you feel fresh and energetic, hence the sound vibration of mantras whether you LISTEN,CHANT ALONG, knowing the meaning or not ,,will create a positive Energy or AROUE AROUND YOU. WILL MAKE YOU MORE DICIPLENED ENJOY ..BE HAPPY.
