    Averaged about 9K steps per day over the past week with a high of 12.5K and a low of 5k. Ran for 0.5 miles today, first time in over a month. Could have run more but stopped myself. No pain in the heel all day which is a huge relief. Plan to increase by a quarter mile every two runs to build up to my usual distance. Had signed up for two races this spring and summer and was worried I'd have to miss them due to injury. Both have been rescheduled for later in the fall. Grateful for the second chance and really trying not to blow the recovery.
