There is a lot of taste difference in brita filtered, big bottles from stores, and tap water. I prefer the taste of filtered water or store bought over tap water.
I do see a difference in taste between the brita water and tap water. The 10 replacement filter, can be bought from Costco or Amazon when they have a coupon.
Yes me too. And recently I even realised Dasani is the most hated brand because there were many packages of Dasani bottles at the store even during these times. When I saw that I was happy that atleast this is available so happily bought them. When I drank the first bottle I felt some weird taste. After few days I saw the same thing trending in twitter that even in this period of quarantine many still don’t prefer Dasani. After we changed the brand there was huge relief!
Thanks for the link, @Laks09. Saved it for the future. Refrigerators already have a water filter in them. Is that not enough? We use tap water for everything. Our Brita is in storage saved for emergency use. .
Ideally, your water pitcher filter label should indicate it’s NSF-certifiedTrusted Source, which means it meets certain standards for sanitation and efficacy. “Certification of filters lets everyone know the product has been tested and meets the requirements of NSF/ANSI 53,” says Andrew. That is from source: Drinking from the Tap vs Brita: Are Water Filter Pitchers Actually Better
