In Fresh Plea Nirbhaya Convict Claims He Wasn't In Delhi On December 16, Court Reserves Order Daily I'm seeing one Tamasha by these culprits. Sorry not the culprits but the defence lawyer/s fighting for them. Yesterday they said they'll approach the United Nations as they have exhausted all judiciary options of this country . Today fresh Tamasha claiming the culprit was not in Delhi on December 16th . They delayed the sentence as much as they can by filing mercy petitions in staggering order for one by one. Now what? Just hang them!! What are the lawyers fighting for????? And what do they gain by taking up such cases? Who pays them??

Indian justice system is a big joke. The defense lawyers are probably doing this for media attention and use this to attract more clients in future. The judge should take a strong stand and give a date for hanging. The citizens already have a very poor opinion of Indian justice system, add this to it its hit rock bottom
Who is/are giving financial and moral support to the convicts is a big question in my mind. We know there is a very strong anti-death penalty lobby in the country. Is it behind the delay?
This kind of delayed justice is what is turning people against judiciary and government more and more !!
