I’m eggetarian n can eat seafood little depending on smell. And no meat... I lack protein in my diet, as I eat this only when we lunch out since we don’t make it at home.

Even eating dal is a carb.. so how many eggs can u eat in a meal, it can get boring to do same also daily. Ppl r saying to have good protein while fasting. I’m looking for options.

I was big on Himalayan pink salt, until I read an article in science today. According to the article, "most people don't realize that the Himalayan salt has traces of arsenic". Then, I went back using the low sodium sea salt. Just a FYI ...

    low electrolytes
    salt + water
In my case, magnesium citrate helped
Your choice of food is not great OP. chawanprash?? it has no preservative because it has too much sugar.. jus eat frozen amla from indian store
and no gajar halwa, instead try nuts, cashew butter is sweet

why are you cooking so much? are your toddlers eating all this? Or ILs?
If you do not cook any gajar halwa, you won't eat any.

yes i got himalayan salt , will try it out for headache.
yup my food choices have been bad for some time now , got to fix it slowly .
i dont eat chawanprash everyday ..once in a few days .. i like it since my childhood days , slowly trying to reduce the frequency now , it gives no benefit eating just like that .

gajar halwa i made like after dont know how many months
i usually only cook very less ..like one sabzi/dal in the evening with rice or roti to be used for dinner and lunch both .
i am not a sweet eating person but would end up eating salty food a lot .

in the last few months , i was extremely busy at my project so could only cook bare minimum.
my main problem is i eat in the morning thinking i would not eat anything else for dinner , then at dinner time i make something for H and then end up eating that as well :sob: , just very bad self control.

i am still trying to stock up on some healthy veg meals and snacks . to reduce all the junk and high carb food .

for today i could fast for 21 hrs ..started at 3pm yesterday and will have tea at 12 noon today and will finish meals(khaman )before 3pm . this one was better than yesterdays ..no spoonful of wonderings just water in between .
