How To Drape Saree Without Pinning Pleats To Shoulders

    I'm trying to divert my attention from these horrendous health issues.

    Looking forward to Indian Summer, which cannot come soon enough.

    I decided to purchase ready-made blouse (not ready to make my own), along with petticoat and saree.

    But how to pleat like this lady does:

    The best tutorial I find so far is this one. The lady looks slim, but she pleats saree on shoulder :neutral:

    Nearly 100 views and no replies?

    I finally mustered the courage to purchase a saree, a readymade blouse (I'll learn blouse-making when I'm better) and petticoat. Real pastel colors so it doesn't attract unwanted attention.

    Really love the idea of covering arms, esp upper arms (still recovering from those colony of bumps)
