“Meghamalai” - A peaceful breather Away from work and hot weather A warm welcome by the short drizzles Cool breeze so eager to embrace us Nature ready with her green carpets The birds chirped celebrating us. Everything was beautiful The greatest view and hardest climb Bumpy rides and crooked roads Slippery stones and gushing waters Panoramic views and photogenic poses Lying on grass and meditating on hilltop Beautiful flowers in hand instead of mobiles Enjoying food and friends instead of devices Returned back refreshed and rejuvenated Huge load of photos collected With wonderful memories for lifetime loaded
Anjie, you know what? You have done a bad thing to me. Guess what? Your vivid description of the hill town Meghamali has ignited my burning desires for travelling that I have been keeping suppressed for the last 5 years. Now, I have to go begging to my unfriendly, taciturn boss for 7 days of leave, which she has been denying me for no reason.
It is beautiful. However,You dont need to stay there as the entire place can be covered in few hours. However,I stayed there in one of the bungalows for a night and the food they served was extraordinary. The place is worth seeing but just for a day.
Yes you are correct, I also spent one day in Meghamalai and the next day we went to Ramakkal medu, which is also as beautiful as Meghamalai.
Yes i got it.A major plane accident happened at Megamalsi and that's why i asked for clarification. Cumbum,Cumbum mettu and Body mettu are nearby places.
