    i can teach you spoken kannada, I have a book Learn Kannada in 30 days which my FIL was using. Now he is no more and i can read and write kannada so i dont need that book. Anyone who wish to learn can take it

    Speak to me! Although like JSKLS I speak a few dialects different from your folks. I also second old Kannada movies. Check out Kalpana's movies - she was quite something those days.
