Your baby is not preparing for IIT-JEE, there is nothing like a recipe book to act with a kid. Love your kid and it will guide what to do, don't rely on rules, just be a natural mommy, have a great time.
@sowmie Yes it is quite normal for babies to not smile everyday. Take him out for walks. Sing to him. I have found that babies love watching sun rays. Something fascinates them.
Hi, I share my experience . Get some picture cards with alphabets from walmart or amazon. They should be individual cards. Show one by one gently telling the letter. At the beginning 5 are enough at a stretch. Kids will get interest after some time. I did it to my daughter around 4 or 5 months. Now she is an awesome reader. Hope this tip will help.
Sowmie...it is normal for a baby to wake up with mixed feelings...some day they wake up crankier than usual...some days we are gifted with a glorious smile...how we love those moments!!! Frustrated that he cannot move on his own..kids bang their head on the mat.Its normal. Don't over react as then they know its the quick way to attract you...many times ..babies get tired after a long time in his tummy..carry him and talk to him about everything under the sun....show him around...only thing is put him down and sit near him as often you carry him..
