Suggestion On Name For A Library

A name without language barriers...eh!
When I saw that I had to recheck to make sure this is not some clever brain teaser quiz.
I would suggest a picture of a book on your name/signboard outside. An image of a book avoids the language barrier or hurdle of miscomprehension.
People can take it for a bookstore or a library. In Spanish language a libreria is a bookstore, whereas a library is called a biblioteca. We dont have that issue in Indian languages. Here is a name (without any language) for you:


I particularly fancy hardcover books. They are intimidating, imply that there are no cute pictures, cartoons, and illustrations inside, and therefore would discourage the riffraff from loitering in your proposed library/reading room.

Nice project. Good luck. But... why do you insist on a name without any language ? That is mysterious !!

 

Nothing mysterious! Since it’s a library there can be books from various languages. Hence OP would have mentioned

 

Bibliotek or variations of that is the most common among languages. Tamil thinks it is a book-house நூலகம், while Hindi thinks it is a book-temple पुस्तकालय.
