    Congratulations on the weight loss.

I haven't faced a similar issue n I have had pcos earlier too. I don't focus on one kind of food, so I don't use excess of anything as even the best food consumed in excess can create imbalance or problems. So I am a lil scared of that.

Try having a little of everything. Have balanced meal. Have more of low cal food, n less quantity of high cal food. Like, 1 small bowl of rice but 2 bowls of vegetables. If you drink cinnamon water for one month, swap to lemon water next. Have channas 2 days in a week, have pulses, makhana, puffed rice or varieties like that during other days.

Point is to have many varieties spread across n not stick to the same kind of food for a long period.

N whatever you are eating, don't exceed your calorie limitation. It can vary according to your height n weight, check online for yours. In average, for normal height women, to maintain the same weight, 1200-1500 calories are enough with less activities. So if you want to lose, you may have to keep it lesser than that, the calorie intake can be adjusted according to your activity level like exercise, walking, gymming, etc n your height.

Thanks for your response Latha and ashneys.. Will try to follow your suggestions. As ashneys pointed out, anything in excess creates imbalance.

    Hii Latha,

Dont feel bad..Doing & trying something is better than doing nothing. your weight loss results are so good with VRK diet plan..I am actually silent reader of this thread and I am also trying to reduce weight from long time..

I have good and bad days and currently standing at 68 kgs. My target goal is 56 kgs. In recent times, I heard lot about VRK diet and wanted to give it a try.

Need some suggestion from you as you have done it. I have few doubts like below..Can you help to clarify
    1. Have you done 1 meal or 2 meal plan? If so, can you tell me some sample plan you followed. Maybe 1 day sample...
    2. If so, have you followed exactly as mentioned by him like taking coconut oil etc and also mentioned quantity of fat?
    3. I tried on 1 day and was ok till evening. Evening i felt so hungry and ate as normal. :(

    Hey all,

You ppl are seriously doing too good...Let me join back again ;)
I will start updating from tomorrow.

    Current weight : 68
    Height : 5'2
    target weight: 56

So totally looking for 12 kgs weight loss...

Almost 2 years back i followed a sample diet which worked for me very good and lost 8 kgs in 5 months time. Planning to start it again now..

    Below is plan:

    Morning: Lemon+honey water
    BF: 3 idlis/2 dosa etc
    Mid morning : Tomato/cucumber/carrot + green tea
    Lunch: 2 roti+ curry
    Evening : 1 green tea + 2 digestive biscuits/Sprouts/any salad
Dinner: Dahliya (broken wheat) khichidi or Oats Umpa

no sugar at all and 45 mins of yoga

I can follow all above except 45 mins exercise now as I have 1.2 years old baby who keeps on waking up in night and morning i will just doze off in sleep and have no strength to wake up. He sticks to me and sleep so as soon as I get up he immediately wakes up so not getting time to do any physical activity.

This time weight loss is purely on Diet..so little worried. Please pour in your suggestions and also wanted to try VRK (veeramachaneni Ramakrishna Diet) but I cant go with 2 meal plan ..maybe i will try 3 meal plan but all 3 meals with veg curries/Omlette/egg etc..People who have followed pls suggest
