    Hi Friends,

Its really time to ask this question. Is the NEET exam conducted across india for M.B.B.S seats is really transparent?

Our meritorious children put in more than 2 yrs of hardwork and planning along with parents to get a merit seat through NEET exam for M.B.B.S.
But the NEET exam conducted by CBSE board does not reflect this seriousness and transparency post examination schedule.
Till the exam, to get more enrollments and more students to write the exam., frequent reminders were sent to the students mobile numbers.

    1. Once the exam is over on May6th 2018, there is no further communication regarding publishing of OMR answer sheets, Final Answer Keys, OMR computer grading and NEET results to the registered mobile numbers. Now the students and parents have to rely on the media and website to get updates.

    2. As given in the NEET prospectus and FAQ, the CBSE has released the OMR answer sheets, ANSWER KEYS for various booklets on MAY 25, 2018. They have kept just a window of 2 days (with both Saturday and SUnday being public bank holidays with less internet centre working for rural areas) for the students to check this.
    3. As per the NEET process, the CBSE has to provide the OMR score graded by the computer and students can provide a challenge against this if there is a mismatch between what is marked in OMR and the computer read. This is provided as OMR Sheet challenge in the student login. This link was INVALID during the schedule of MAY 25-27, 2018. This really disabled the children to check their OMR grading mismatch.

    4. For an OMR grade mismatch per question, the challenge fee is Rs.1000. Is this really a practical, affordable approach? For eg. a student finds that the OMR grade has read 10 questions wrongly, the student will have to pay Rs.10000 to challenge this. Being bank holidays, how can a rural student arrange this much fund and raise a challenge.? This is really a biased partial approach for affluent groups.
    5. Most of the Parents and NEET students have not checked their OMR answer keys and grading during this period as there was less awareness for people who prepare for the exam self rather than through coaching centres.

    5. Post NEET results declaration, there is no way to approach CBSE for any rectification as all channels are closed.. so do many bright students M.B.B.S aspirations.
    6. The funniest part is all the CBSE NEET support numbers provided in the website were mostly switched off and not answered....

Is our education system being looted by politicians and CBSE board in the name of providing common admission criteria.?

Went through the points cursorily - the same conditions apply to all entrance exams I believe such as IIT JEE. In case of Tamil Nadu though many students did poorly because for last few years admission to professional courses in the state, i.e. engineering and medicine, have been done on the basis of 12 std exams only without any entrance exams. As a result TN students have done poorly compared to other states (the other 4 southern states are among the top 10 in terms of qualifying students). Please correct if I have been not factual.

There are 2 types of TN students.
    1. Bright & Well prepared TN students who are easily classified as TAMILIANS performing poorly
    2. Mismatch of TN school syllabus and preparation for the common Entrance exam.
what we are saying is that CBSE/NEET board is taking advantage of the first point and not providing the required transparency. Hence even eligible smart meriotorius TN students [Rural/urban] lose their opportunity to perform the Professional course on Merit quota.
