Answer to Puzzle # 8149 Crop Circle These are formation or pattern created by flattening a crop, usually a cereal. That is why image 2 row 2 is showing cereal. Image 1, row 1 shows a crop. Image 1 & 4 in row 2 shows some of the formations. The scientific consensus on crop circles is that they are constructed by human beings as hoaxes. Bowler and Chorley confessed in 1991 to making the first crop circles in South England. In 1992, Hungarian youths Gabor Takacs and Robert Dallos, both then 17, were the first people to face legal action after creating crop circle. Even though many rumors exist including UFO landing, the only other explanation that is partially accepted is tornadoes or ball lightning as shown in image 2 of row 2 and image 3 of row 2. The researcher Jeremy Northcote found that crop circles in the UK in 2002 were not spread randomly across the landscape. They tended to appear near roads, areas of medium-to-dense population, and cultural heritage monuments such as Stonehenge or Avebury in the United Kingdom. Stonehenge image is shown in image 3 in row 1. Image of the crop + Image of the circles would bring "Crop Circle". Credit: @Gauri03, @jskls, @kkrish, @butterflyice and @sokanasanah. Viswa
