10,000 Steps Per Day To Maintain Healthy Lifestyle

    Hello everyone,

    I wish to do 10,000 steps per day along with conscious eating and good amount of water intake(minimum 3 litres).
    To have accountability, I'm opening a thread and will update daily. Earlier, i followed my schedule and tried hard to stick to it just because of Prash29's thread.

    Will try to drink warm water as well (Got a flask for me especially for this!)

    Concrete goals:
    • 10K steps
    • 4 Litres water (atleast 2 litres warm water)
    • Dinner before 8PM (atleast by eating alone with waiting for hubbby and feeding kids by 7:30PM)
    • Avoid Fat content
    • Reduce junk(murukku,biscuits etc) in my evening snacks

    Will start from today!

    I have an app in phone - Noomwalk - works well but not very accurate and doesnt drain battery. But i wasnt comfortable carrying mobile everywhere since daily i couldnt wear dresses with pockets.

    Finally yesterday, I gifted myself Mi Band HRX (Budget friendly- Rs.1299 since I use a MI phone). It doesnt have many features except pedometer and sleep analysis. When synched with phone, it does inform me about incoming calls, alerts me if I'm sitting without any activity for an hour. Heard the battery lasts around 23 days.
    So far no complaints...

    Please count me in too...I used to do 10k steps 2 years ago and saw good results.:thumbup:...But again gained few pounds because of not exercising and not eating properly..Lets motivate each other and do this

    First day couldnt complete 10k but tahts fine...I can gradually increase
    6.5k steps
    2 litres water-No warm water
    Had to prepare gulab jamun for kids and eat it too:facepalm::facepalm: Maybe its like shubharambh...

    16 Feb - 8.5k steps
    3 litres of water
    Diet - Had been out after breakfast with kids - so heavy lunch (Chicken biriyani) and dinner - junk (in a mall with nighht show movie)

    17 Feb - 3k Steps
    Weekends are always worse.

    5k steps
    3L water in which 1L warm water
    Diet - Moderate

    Due to school admission stress and other things couldnt keep up..Will try to get back on track
