Make healthy changes in your food to lead a healthy life. 1.Instead of sugar ,add honey,palm jaggery ,pannakarkandu etc., to your food. 2.Instead of green chillies add pepper,ginger ,garlic in your cooking. 3.Use rock salt,black salt, sea salt instead of our regular salt.Taste will be more enhanced when you add regular salt.To enhance more taste when you use black salt or rock salt,you have to add more. 4.Use kodampuli or malabar tamarind instead of regular tamarind. 5.Avoid maida ,rava,oats. 6.Use gingelly oil or groundnut oil instead of refined sunflower oil. 7.Avoid using colors and additives. 8.Using cow's milk is good for health.Try using groundnut milk,coconut milk,badam milk etc,. 9.Regular intake of greens ,fruits ,vegetables ,sprouts is a healthy change over.

Good list, i would like to add 10. Use millets in your regular diet.( using millets one can prepare dosa, idli, bisibelebath, veg pulav, khicadi and many more)

Using the substitutes mentioned above is a good start, but they are still all high-GI carbohydrates which will spike your insulin levels. Try to slowly cut down on the sweet things in your diet to reduce your craving for any type of sweetener. If you must add sweetness, use Stevia. It is a natural sweetener from a plant, it's incredibly sweet so you only use a tiny amount.
