    Hi My son has these toys.The latter is a 2-in-one..kids can use as a ride-on and also a push toy.Another choice is Fisher-price rock-roll and ride..Its a toy that grows with your kid..

    Supriya, I love the toys your kiddo has, the rock/roll and ride sounds like fun. I think I 'll wait on that one for another year. I also like the push ones. Thanks for taking the time to send pictures. I appreciate it.

    Vanathi, my MIL likes to give gifts, all gift wrapped with pretty bows and paper , she's not a gift card person, that's why I am trying to make a list of things for her. So far I have chosen a couple touch and feel books, a couple shape and animal puzzles that go on the board, a walker and a rocking giraffe.

    As far as music goes, I really want hindi nursery rhymes for Riya, so do keep your eyes and ears open in case you find something online. I can find a ton of english ones here easily, and becuase of Kindermusik classes, we already have some CDs in English.

    Ok found something interesting - Child Audio Book I've seen these in shops and bought a Tamil-English version for my nephew who likes it!

    I have been just going through your post I would suggest meera masi site for hindi learning products.
    I bought some of DVD and learning book for my daughter .and it works.

    Neeti, thanks a lot! Looks really good. I don't want to introduce DVDs to Riya yet, but the Khushi Manao series is just board books and Audio CDs. Perfect!
