    Good Monday morning/evening

    I had a satisfactory Sunday.
I had my music class early in the morning - 5-6 am.
After that had coffee and posted IL.
Felt sleepy, so slept till 8am. :)

Breakfast was dosa with sambar and chutney.
After breakfast DS-1 asked me if I would like to go for a walk with him.
We went to the local beach.
The weather was marvelous, and the wind was stiff. We walked for about 30-40 minutes and came back.

Walking against the wind was so difficult it was like climbing a mountain. My legs got a good work out. My fit-bit showed I had climbed 18 floors in 30 mins. :)

Came home, placed the rice in the rice cooker, had my shower, and then had light lunch of paruppu podi rice and some rasam (previous day).

After lunch, I again responded to a query in IL. Was very sleepy with all that fresh air walking. Slept from 2pm - 4:30 PM.
Had coffee and made dinner - keerai saadam, curd rice, appalam, and raita.

    • Peeled onions, placed in Ziploc freezer bags and put in the firdge.
    • Stringed kotthavaranagai (cluster beans), chopped half of it and pressure cooked - put it in fridge.
    • Pressure cooked tamarind, extracted the pulp, and put it in bottles - placed in fridge.
    • Started from one end and cleaned the kitchen counter-space moving in a clockwise direction. Resulted in a lot of dishes in the sink.
    • Removed all the stuff from the fridge, wiped the fridge clean, and replaced all the stuff.
    • Loaded all the dishes in the dishwasher.
    Had dinner. Cleaned up.
Before going to bed, started the dishwasher.

All these talks about fridge reminds me that I too have to clean and wipe the shelves of my fridge.

Today did bare minimal. Feeling so tired, may be from all the work in weekend.

Hubby went early and didn't cook breakfast.
Just made tea, swept house, made rice and rasam for lunch and heated yesterday's left over curries.
Will make dosa and chutney for dinner.

    Hi Madhumagie

It took me about 40-45 mins to remove all the stuff, wipe the shelves and rearrange.

I cleaned only the shelves and not the doors.
Also I rearranged all the stuff that go together on the kitchen counter itself, with the fridge door closed.
because everybody takes and puts stuff in the fridge, they were placed where they found place.

    Tuesday
What was new was son#2 came home and at once there were bear hugs, discussions with dad on world affairs, sharing pictures with mom, planning movies with big brother, and having dinner with a gusto that any cook would enjoy watching.

    Housework...what housework? :)

Woke with back pain...didn't want to do much household work today but couldn't stop myself after seeing the state of sink and stovetop.

    Morning did physio exercises.
    Swept house and staircase.
Dh cleaned yesterday's dishes and he just leaves the sink as it is.
Made upma for DH's breakfast. Rice/drumstick leaves with dal, rasam for lunch, oats for me.
Boiled sweet corn for evening snack.
Wanted to start office work but couldn't focus with an untidy house.
Cleaned all breakfast dishes, dosa pans, tea/milk pans/cups, stove parts.
Wiped down kitchen counter and stove top.
Cleaned sink and the wash area (there is a small area near sink).
Washed hair and started office work.
Lunch and evening tea dishes yet to be washed.
Looks some water problem here and can't do laundry. Hope its fixed soon.
    Will get takeaway for dinner.
Have so much office work to complete and also need some rest with this back pain.

@kkrish have a nice time with your family.
