Hello ladies,

I joined IndusLadies today and am looking forward to interacting with plenty of like-minded and experienced ladies from various fields.

When I search the Web on anything related to Indian festivals, Google always directs me to a thread here, which is very useful.

Although I live in India and have access to elders who can advise me as to the "hows" and "whys" of our rituals, I feel there is a need to explore all these aspects on my own. Now that my husband, child and I make up a nuclear family, it is important to learn these things on my own. It will also help me inculcate the values of our tradition in my child.
