Hi ladies, My baby is 1 year old and she was exclusively breastfed for 6 months. Nowadays, I feed her only when she is sleepy and at night. My daughter has started taking rice and idli.Recently, we knew that she is transient lactose intolerant and hence we are advised not to give any other milk for next 6 months. We tried to give isomil, soya based drink (for the past 2 days) but she is not taking. I would like to know whether breastfeeding cause weight loss for t mother. Because, I was 58 kgs after delivery and now I am 50 kgs and I feel very weak. Few of my relatives are saying I l ll be back to normal if I stop breastfeeding. Please advise me on this.
You can sustain and maintain t he weight loss if u eat healthy.if u are eating whatever u like, the weight loss is coz breastfeeding.half the calories goes to the baby.once u stop feeding u will gain back the weight
Yes.When you breastfeed, you burn calories. So when your intake is poor and not healthy, then you start loosing weight.Eat healthy balanced meal twice a day and you can continue bf'ing till you want to.
