Hi all!! Happy to see this active thread!! My dh got a project in Marlborough.. Need your advise on public schools, cheap rental apartments n other amenities nearby.. How about westborough? Any other suggestions??

 

Shrewsbury/Westboro are good school districts, have proximity to train stations, access to good shopping. Westboro Apts are more expensive. Both have large indian communities

Northboro/southboro are equally good not a big indian community though. Not sure about apts. Framingham would have decent apts but not a good school district. Check greatschools.org. I havent lived there so not sure about rent

 

Tku so much.. Just googled rent details.. Even single bhk costs around $1300.. We've 2 kids.. Don't know how to afford

 

Yes Mass is way too expensive. Check Marlboro/Grafton too. School dist is not great though.

 

Hi all! I'm Priya.. I moved to Shrewsbury Ashford crossing last week.. Unfortunately I didn't see any Indians yet in this week.. So scared of this new place.. Have many questions on laundry, pipeline gas cook top,etc., Maintenance people said to come n help one day. But still I will be comfortable if I see any Indians out here.. Is there anyone living here???

 

Hi Priya, its summer. People would have gone on vacation. I am sure you will find lots of Indians in that area. Go for walks in the evenings. Go to the indian grocery nearby. You will see plenty of them.
