Which is the best way of doing this picture? paper/ canvas? or someother medium?

 

For a beginner paper is better.water/poster colours alone can be used.

But for more professional look, canvas is the best and the tone and shades would be brought out precisely on.
acrylic/oil colours can be used.

The mural on Fabric are more popular nowadays.

Beautiful designs, I just love colors on Kerala mural paintings, sometimes feel like painting entire house walls.

 

Hi all, initially I too used to look for all kinds of design sheets and trace them. Now I realised if you just take some time to understand the designs it is much easier to create a painting any size rather than trace them.
I have recently uploaded a painting of mine which is entirely drawn by me freehand.
