Opposite!

He was cherished as the enlightened one in their tribe, as he took little or almost no effort to learn things that took others many years. Be it the hunting skill or mastering their own difficult language which used a lot of signs as well that completed the meaning, he seemed to master all these at ease. The only blemish, as he himself felt was the death of his father while he was very small. At 15 years, he looked tall, lean and decisive, and seen with an awe by even the elders of his tribe.

He also had one extra quality which made him to be above the rest of his tribe, even for many years to come. He was able to deduce a few things about anyone who stood before him. He said that it came like a 'misty vision' to him and conveyed whatever he saw, clearly. One day it occurred to him that he never applied this to his mom. He revered his mother and did anything to keep her happy. As he grew up, his intensity of love too increased. He asked his mother to stand before him, but she refused.

Convincing her was no easy task and he had to try for many days. Finally, she stood before him and he was able to see something. He did not reveal what he saw, but requested his mom to go. As soon as she left, he could not control any longer and burst out, crying hard. Instinctively, his mother rushed in, and hugged him forcibly. It took quite sometime for him to stop. "Alas! I am going to be the cursed one to see you go before me!", he said.

She wiped her tears, smiled and said, "I wish it to happen exactly that way dear!".
