Who am I?

Hello,

I recently joined this website. It looks like a fun site based on my quick browse through. I have lived in US for the past 22 years and have felt somewhat isolated from the Indian community. It is good to see a website dedicated to all things Indian. I am originally from Kerala (lived most of my life in India in Chennai and Delhi) and have been living in the Boston area for the past 12 years.

I work for a large Pharmaceutical company. My work keeps me fairly busy therefore I do not find a lot of time for cooking or other home-related activities on a daily basis. I however, do like to entertain every now and then. I look forward to trying out some of the recipes posted at this site.

My hometown being Madurai i shifted to Chennai for the past 2 years after getting together with Dakshin my husband. I am a freelance building designer taking up eco friendly projects all around the State. More in Madurai. I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and non-fiction, music and nowadays cooking and handwork too.
Enjoy homemaking.....

We conduct eco camps for children in all parts of Tamil Nadu. And also at home in chennai. Residential and one day camps. Mostly on all sundays when we are available.
