    Hi Shiva,
    Wonderful! So nice words will certain to instil confidence on others. Just a month back, we (myself, GW and kids) started on a project to keep fit. We are having apprehensions whether it is going to work, but it has been my duty to keep motivating all of us. And your blog has really convinced me that the benefits can be reaped if determination is there,

    Only one thing, if you can just indicate the type of balanced meal for a veggie, it would be really helpful.

    The first step to weight loss is to take it slow. You can post your diet and exercise regime on my thread and we can further discuss it there.

    You just need to walk for 30 minutes thats all. We will start by making small changes so that it won't be very difficult for you to start with the weight loss programm.

    We all go through a phase of demotivation, when things just don't work our way. I go through it too but as I have accepted it as a part of weight loss I try to minimize the damage it could do.

    If you feel demotivated then write to me and I will do my best to pull you through. Sometimes just writing it down clears the mind.

    Wow, you are from Muscat too. Nice to hear from you. Its great that you started the project to keep fit and are a motivator to your wife and kids. Way to go Madan, good show.

    A healthy vegetarian meal is a plate which has proper carbs, proteins and vegetables. I am a vegetarian too and I make sure that the plate is balanced.

    In my meal I always include a good helping of sprout salad, any lentil, lots of vegetables and 1 helping of carbohydrate (like roti or little rice). Snacking is done majorly on fruits.
