Oh my god, I will tell my great BIL, he will take all the bottles and rush there..hahahaeee

Hi epaandian,
I agree with you. You asked for some suggestions to be considerate towards your servants. During important festivals, (1 or 2 per year) you can surprise them with a new dress/saree, in addition to the Diwali bonus. When they fall sick you can offer to buy medicines prescribed by the doctor and can be a bit generous on giving leave/giving less work at those times. These are things that I do. Also, if servants have children, there are lots of small things you can keep doing once in a while. I get them notebooks, pens, pencils etc. If any guest brings in adequate packets of biscuits and chocolates, we set aside a few packets to be given to them. It gives them so much happiness when you give unopened packs for such things for their kids. Hope this helps.

Hi anitha, nice blog, as you said people always spend money on useless things but when it comes to vegetable vendor/ paper boy/bottle girl they count even single paisa ...
i have seen such people and i can understand your feelings ...
