    watch too much of TV!
Your worries will 'subconsciously' reflect on your daughter's mental make up, remember!
Allow her to bloom as an independant young woman!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Chithra,
Definitely we tend to worry on matters like school results, house not cleaned up , cooking not finished etc etc. The worry is related to the sphere of our functions and we often voice it. Men goes into macro aspect of settling housing loan, car hire instalmnet etc etc.
Of course nowadays women who controls the home's purse tend to worry on financial matters too.But there are some inherent characterstics of women in general and men too & worrying is one aspect.
Worry is also related to concern, we get concerned abt everything as a result we worry.
Only yogis who can seperate themselves from the body and mind will not worry, we can only reduce our worries.

Chithra i love your new avatar.
    Jaya

Thanks for your last line!! That is the potramarai in our Madurai meenakshi Temple!:)
You are right, Jaya our worries include both micro & macro (now a days) issues!
Men tend to worry with more emphasis on macro issues!
    Thanks for dropping in, Jaya.
    Love,
    Chithra.

It is so true that women express their fears and their worries more than men. Also, people tend to worry more as they grow older - perhaps have more to worry about?...
You know, while I was fearless growing up and remain so for all things concerning me personally. I became a worrier after the kids arrived. However, I am better now since my kids strike a wonderful balance, reasoning and allaying my fears when i fret about their sibling..

The quote you had quoted here...highlights the results of worrying, Chithu.
Just like you, I too love this quote.

Believe me, in my younger age, I was quite a 'tension party' - my mother will vouchsafe for it! But over the years, I realised hat I was getting depressed & depressing others around me. So, I literally struggled & started worrying less & less!!
    Love,
    Chithra.
