Truth is simple, as Aristotle had said. How right he was. As I read through your piece, I could see the ease with which you revealed eternal truth. If minds could be taught the language that heart speaks, the world would be so much prettier. I like your gentle style.

Dear Sri, Its a lovely poem.

I was reminded of Frost's A passing glimpse as I read it... you talk about the heart, and there, he talks about all that the mind sees, and then, misses for only at times we're moving too quickly to register all that happens around us.

I loved your poem, and I love the last lines in the Frost poem, about the heavens giving its glimpses only to a select few.

    Here it is:

    A passing Glimpse:
I often see flowers from a passing car
That are gone before I can tell what they are.
I want to get out of the train and go back
To see what they were beside the track.
    I name all the flowers I am sure they weren't;
Not fireweed loving where woods have burnt--

Not bluebells gracing a tunnel mouth--
Not lupine living on sand and drouth.

Was something brushed across my mind
That no one on earth will ever find?

Heaven gives its glimpses only to those
Not in position to look too close.

    Hello Cheeniya Sir,

whenever I log-in IL, I do look around for u not knowing you are busy following your heart here in the Blogs.

Beautiful poem; no words to praise. All those beautiful words that you've sprinkled all over, I can't pick and choose cause I just love them all.

oh yes, there's always this head or heart question, all the time, all thru our life...
My vote, like most I'm sure, is to my heart.

Somehow following the heart there's no fear- it's like inner feeling of freedom but following the head.... you've said it right, so cheers to heart I say!
