    Gone are the days when coloring was meant for kids. Now coloring has been brought out as an effective art therapy to destress.These coloring books have complex designs which grown-ups can color as a way of stress relief.
    It helps reduce the anxiety of the user and also maintain the blood pressure at an acceptable level.
    Several doctors are thrilled at the outcome of using these books and are even prescribing them to their patients now. These books contain therapeutic patterns which are relaxing to the mind. (free image from pinterest)

    This is so true.

    At first I wanted to make my own patterns and use vivid colors, but then I fell in love with re-creating beautiful photos and still objects.

    There is something about using vivid, beautiful colors and creating beautiful things!

    I have really felt so relaxed while coloring in my nephews books. No wonder they have found it to have therapeutic value.

    Sometimes I colored my DD`s coloring pages. Really it was relaxing and sense of good feel. Are the adult coloring books available in amazon?

    Some adult coloring pages are available on pinterest.... You could print them out and use...if you like it then maybe invest in a book?
