    @PLK: These are south- Indian( Tamil) words to describe subs.

    Poriyal - Stir fry that is made with basic south-indian spices and powders
    Kosthu - Feels like a sambar that can be had with idli/ dosas
    Kasha yam - concotion / Kaada ( Hindi), made with dry medicinal spices like dry ginger, pepper corns and other such for throat pain/ sore throats

    Food update for 4th Feb
    2 chapati and pithla(Marathi subjee made with onions and besan)
    coffee without sugar...now a days don't feel like sugar was at all required...
    idli 4 + lot of sambar, full of vegetables
    one small slice of Margarita pizza(its our weekend and don't feel like cooking)
    papaya

    water 10 cups

    see you tomorrow.

    Hello ladies,
    iam a bit sick with sore throat and cough since last night. Could not do much workout than below. The end of season flu has finally visited us and we are coughing out them. I managed with dal rice this afternoon, 3 cups of hot milk and tea for the whole day and wheat dosa for night. Nothing special. Will bounce back.

    20 situps
    20 toe touchs
    20 side bends
    50 jumping jacks

    Early morning lots of water

    Bf - 2 weetabix with milk and fruits( apple and grapes)

    Mm - buttermilk + roasted chana

    Lunch - brown rice and dal kichdi with chicken and veggies + 1 PC chocolate

    Evening - coffee no sugar + brown bread

    Dinner - sambar rice with veggies and kabab

    Before bed - green tea

    Water - 3 ltrs

    Workout - nil ( have severe lower back pain)

    Beans - weekly 2 days done!

    @Melon, So so so so happy to see you back melon.. My son is good.. 1.3 yrs.. naughty naughty.. I guess he will become like your little tiger.. I can see the resemblancess.. ;-) How is pinky mam?? Hope your health is fine now..

    I'm having sore throat and slight fever. So, I'll start with diet and workout from Monday.

    @Mathi, If possible, post the challenges on Sunday pls pls..
