My last 14 kgs to shake away before March 14th

    Hello lovely people

    Many knows about me and my weight loss journey due to family and work commitments i have lost the track and now i have to regain my body i love ... I do love my current body but i want to be more lovable from inside and outside ...

    Learn to do slow and steady so i can stick on the lifestyle yes its not a diet its lifestyle change . So I call it is a " Steady Diet " . I have done this previously and i have lost many kilos upto 12 kgs in 3 - 4 months .

    Steady diet rules

    Six days restricted days :

    > No junks
    > No cakes
    > No breads
    > No buns
    > No white or brown bread and rice
    > No sugar
    > No fried or oily food

    Restricted sample menu :

    breakfast : veggie omlette ( with one egg + one egg white)
    Snacks : Green tea +apple
    Lunch : steamed veggies + one boiled egg
    Snakcs : Green tea
    Dinner : Oatmeal



    Allowed foods
    > Steamed
    >baked
    > boiled

    Any veggies except potatoes
    Any meat except skin of chicken, ribs of lamb or high fat meats
    Any seafood limited amount of crab and prawns
    Eggs allowed only 3 - 4 a day

    Exercise : Alternate days HIT or cardio


    Celebration day :


    One day eat only celebration meal size of your closed fist portion of ANYONE from the following :

    > Cake
    >Bread
    >Fried chicken
    > Pakora
    >chips
    Etc etc

    Sample celebration day would be as follows :

    > Breakfast : Chickpea +egg salad
    > Lunch : fist portion of fried veggies brown/white rice with curry or 2 rotis with curry
    >dinner : Skip them or have coconut water 1 cup



    This diet is my own scripted diet and i am not a dietician but consulted with an dietician as i do believe in fully balanced meal rather than stupid fad diet in losing weight .

    Starting from Today :
    18th Jan 2016 :
    Breakky : Chickpea salad with two boiled egg
    Snacks : Green tea latte
    Lunch : steamed veggies with two boiled egg
    Snakcs : Green tea
    Dinner : Oats meal

    Workout : 15 mins pilates only (planned) and 15 mins power walking (done)

    Current weight 85
    Today's meal
    One burger bun with butter...will stop from tomm
    beetroot+noodles salad
    coffee
    2 idli and sambar with lots of veggie

    60 min exercise

    Hurrey... BBD is back. ... nice to see you. I am joining too... but excuse for multi grain bread for the first week. . I just got them today :(

    Bf - coffee, multi grain n seed bread with omlette
    Snack - orange juice
    Lunch - rice. 5 cups, sambar, beet n carrot poriyal
    Snack - tea, 1 chocolate-banana-nuts cake made of whole wheat flour n brown sugar, apple
    Dinner - chapati 1, assorted lentils n veggies curry


    Could not stay away from rice or chapati... will try in future

    Hi sujatha yes i have reached my ideal weight but high side of it so decided to lose another 14 kgs already lost 2 kg since jan start so another 12 kgs to lose for my dream weight ...

    Hi Puvee its okay for restriction it is just a guide you are very welcome join from Feb 1st week as i will be also strict .... my parents are flying from melbourne so cant resist yummy mummy food but will be in portion control ... i couldnt follow this steady diet due to my period so had some carbs ... :( still lost 800 gms during that time due to portion control

    19th JAn 2015 :
    Egg omlette with steamed veggies
    Rasam + steamed veggies + 1/4 chicken
    Oat meals

    Exercise : only walking

    20th Jan 2015 :
    Breakky : Green Smoothies
    Lunch : rice + rasam+ egg omlette (1 egg only)
    Dinner : Beetroot chappati + raita

    Bf - coffee, dosai 3, sambar
    Mm - homemade whole wheat muffin (made of brown sugar) not a good choice though
    Lunch - horsegram n veggies fried rice
    Snack - tea, tostitos with salsa
    Dinner - veggies pasta 2 tbsp , rice a fist with spinach

    Water - 2 lt
    Workout - 45 mins yoga n 25 mins walk
