Day 5 : Had a relaxed weekend... Went for temple and trail of lights. Loved the event . enjoyed lots. Feeling so good
Day 30: Uneventful, unremarkable day. Came across this profound quote that made me reflect a little. “We all sorely complain of the shortness of time, and yet have much more than we know what to do with. Our lives are either spent in doing nothing at all, or in doing nothing to the purpose, or in doing nothing that we ought to do. We are always complaining that our days are few, and acting as though there would be no end of them.” – Lucius Annaeus Seneca
Day 20: Had a dream about my school day friends during my nap time. It brought back days of innocence and filled the heart with true love. Wish i could meet any of them. Lost track of them. Those were days of dial in telephones and letters. No FB or cellphones. Just wish I could trace at least one of them.
@Gauri03 : I logged in just to read and like this post. You don't know this put a big smile on my face and I told myself 'Ah Gauri I feelya " Food and kids - Not sure what and why they just don't get along well :bonk

Day 31: My son is a budding comedian. Loves making up puns and knock-knock jokes. I'm his favorite audience. All jokes get tested on mommy. He does a killer Baljit accent from Phineas and Ferb. Makes me ROFL. Had a fun conversation with him this evening. Lots of jokes and silly accents. He told me, "I love it when you laugh mommy!" Nearly made me cry.
Put "----x----" in a doc and did "Save as PDF" and told computer-ji to lock it. Connected with a dear dear childhood friend after decades. Funny when FB says to 'confirm' something that is an integral, innate, inalienable part of "you" Something about the season, and festive lights everywhere... retold my kids their birth stories, and instead of roll-eyes, got intelligent questions. : ) aah.. the narcissism of the young. : )
