@EagerMom - First I purchased Pigeon Manual breast pump but I felt suction was too much and hurt too much. Luckily when I spoke to customer care, they gave me full refund. Later on I purchase Philips Avent manual pump. I found it was much softer and comfortable but suction was too less. Overall I am using the pump just to stimulate and still expressing by hand :thumbsdown. My milk supply is still only a few ml a day. just feeling hopeless.

Why do you plan to buy a breast pump ? In my case my baby being a premie and me having little milk, I was forced to bottle feed formula/pumping.

Medela manual pump is excellent, i am using it from 3.5months.

Even mine was premie hospital gave bottle feed(my breast milk )
for 20days he was in hospital, later 1month i bottle feed him as
my main goal was his weight gain.. Now he never sucks in breast
only bottle feed.. Mistake i regret forever i lost exp of breast feed...

But i have never given him formula as my milk supply is excellent.

Pump every 3hrs, drink mothers horlicks twice...
use more dil leaves and google few food which increase milk supply....

    Hi friends

Congrats to whoever gave birth in this club..
And all the best who is expecting..

Regarding diaper here is my exp...

First two months i just used disposable diaper.
(Costed 3000rs per month for diapers and wet wipes)

3rd month i did some googling and found cloth diaper and its
working excellent, work is very easy and baby is comfortable too..

Bumberry diaper is 800rs, easily comes for 3-5hrs based on your babys pee..
Can be used from 0 months to 2years..Adjustable size.

Later i did this mix and match,
For cover i used Tiny care's water proof cover, (250rs for 3 covers)
and bought inserts from Bumberry... (220rs for 1 insert)

6-8 covers and 6-12 inserts does majic of keeping your baby dry
and saves you from changing dhoti/kacche every 15mins
and economical compared to Disposable diaper and its 1time
investment till your baby is 2yrs...

@cool10 - Thanks for all the pointers.

@eagermom I am growing impatient ! The scan reports are playing games with my due date.sometimes its 12th, sometimes 16th or 19th. My AFI @39 weeks is 15. I start my week- 40 tomorrow.

@sivasakthigopi , @vandhenakrish and @madhusharmila All the best guys.Hope you all share your birthing stories soon.

@harisripriya Hope you have delivered by now.

@mrsbv, @chulbuli04 hope the new mommas are enjoying time with LOs

I am still playing the waiting game. My bump is still high. i have heard that close to delivery it drops. Does this mean I have a long wait ahead? My gynec is prepared to wait for 1 week post my due date after which she is planning to induce(if i dont go into labour by then). Fingers crossed and praying that I get to hold a healthy and normal LO soon.

    Take care ladies.

@Dibu: Glad, that you had a pleasant birthing experience. Take care of yourself and the LO.

@EagerMom: Pelvic pain is common during the last few weeks. Your body is preparing for labor. I too have them. And, thanks for the info. on Rustic Art detergent. Checked it and planning to buy online.

@teejay: Yes, the EDD keeps changing in the scan based on the baby's size. Don't think too much about it. It's something that we cannot decide about. Wish your LO makes his entry without keeping you wait longer.

@sumalynux: Thanks for the pointers on cloth diapers. I've now made up my mind to get one instead of disposable diapers.

@all: I'd to rush to the emergency on Thursday as there was a decrease in fetal movement. Then, got it monitored and assured that the baby is doing fine. The blood test was done to check for obstetric cholestasis, since I've severe itching. The reports were clear and I felt relieved. Now, this itching part is making life miserable. I am trying out all sort of oils and lotions.

I guess that the baby has dropped as I feel the pressure on the pelvic area. Just praying that it should hold on until my mom comes in two weeks. I've my regular appointment after a week.

Best wishes to all expecting moms and the ones who delivered. Take care Girls!

    Hello to all lovely ladies,

Blessed with baby boy on oct 27 through normal delivery and I wanted to share my good and bad experience here and ladies waiting to deliver take my good experience alone.
Congratulations to all ladies who have delivered and All the best to ladies waiting eagerly.

Mine was almost same as @dibu. I was spotting on oct 26 and we went to doc and he sent us to hospital to monitor baby movements, after two hours of monitoring they said everything is fine and u r not yet dilated and contractions are not there. we came home and next day morning around 5.30 I had period like cramps and it came every 7 mins. I didn't wake anyone and was managing and all of a sudden I felt like I want to go the bathroom for bowel movement and felt so urgent. when I tried to go, I was not able to. Then every 6 min both the pains, I kept on going to bathroom and at one stage I passed my loo. Then I thought I will be relieved but both pains got worse, so I went told my MIL around 8.30 and she said it will not pain like this and u want to go to bathroom, I again tried to go but was not able to. Then pain got worse and my DH took me to hospital and my water broke during travel. After we reached hospital they checked me and I was thinking about asking epidural or some pain killer, doc said u r 10cm dilatedwhaatsmiley and they took me to labour room and doc asked me push hard and my boy was there at 10.30 am. Doc was like better take some gloves next time and deliver ur wife at home. I felt so blessed and I donot know what more to ask god. After 3 years our dream came true and me my DH was crying in labor room after delivery. This is my good exoerience.

Now comes bad one which I don't want to go in detail, after delivery I had severe burning sensation and doc checked and said there is some internal bleeding and they said the medical term HAEMOTOMA which is uncommon and they are seeing it after 5 yrs in the hospital. I was asked to undergo minor surgery to clear it and operation was done in evening. struggled a lot, but now recovering and doing good.
