    Dear friends,
I got married and had chance to stay in other countries such as Belgium, Singapore and now in Sweden.Being vegetarian and having soo much interest in cooking and experimenting new dishes in different countries, I learnt that some continental dishes are worth trying along with our native Indian food... My favourite cuisines are italian, lebanese, chinese, swedish, mexican etc., they can be easily made and most of the ingredients are now available in India also...
So here in this thread, I want to share some amazing continental dishes.. Some became my favourite dishes and became a part in my daily cooking..
Hope you will also try them and share your favourite fusion recipes....

The recipe I am sharing today is Swedish Chocolate balls..
    So easy and yummy.....

    Chocolate balls recipe:

    Makes 12 Chocolate balls
    1. 1.5 US Cup Normal Oats(Rolled Oats)
    2. 0.5 Cup Sugar
    3. 1 table spoon honey
    4. 2 table spoons Cold coffee(Only Decotion)
    5. 3 Table spoons unsweetened Cocoa powder
    6. 1 tea spoon vanilla essence
    7. 1 small stick butter (approximately 50gms)

    Method:
Take a bowl and add Oats, butter, sugar, honey, cocoa powder, vanilla essence, coffee and mix all ingredients properly and if you want to take help of mixer, you can. And at last make small sized balls and roll them in coconut flakes and they are ready :)

    Vegetable stuffed oats idly :

    Preparation time: 15-20 min
    Cooking time: 10 min
    Complexity: Medium
    Serves: 2

    Ingredients for idly:
    1 Cup Oats
    1/2 cup semolina or sooji
    1 cup curd or yoghurt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    Tempering ingredients
Green chillies (according to your spice level)
    Salt
    Ingredients for the stuffing:
    1 onion
    1 big tomato
Vegetables of your choice finely chopped : Potato, carrot, beans, peas, corn etc.,
    1/2 teapsoon turmeric powder
    1 teaspoon chat masala
    1 teaspoon coriander powder
Chilli powder (according to your spice level)
    Salt as required
    Few coriander leaves (optional)
    Method:
    1. Dry roast oats, blend it to a coarse powder and keep aside.
    2. Heat a pan, add oil and tempering ingredients, green chillies, sooji and dry roast and keep aside.
    3. In a big bowl, add dry roasted oats, sooji, add yoghurt, baking soda, salt and make it into a batter just like normal idly batter and rest it for 10-15 min.
    4. Meanwhile we can prepare Vegetable masala for stuffing. Heat a pan, add oil, onion and sauté until done. Now add finely chopped potato, carrot, beans, peas etc., of your choice and sauté for 3-4 min or until cooked. Now add tomato, chat masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook it for 3-4 min. Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and let the masala cool.
    5. Now, grease the idli moulds with oil and pour little batter may be half you wanted to put in a mould, then put spoonful of the vegetable masala on it and close it with another half of batter.
Steam and enjoy with tomato ketchup or chutney as you wish.
    Please share your experiences friends..
