The showers of blessing

On a hot and humid eve
When farmers were toiling in their fields
The tots had not finished their game
The workers were dashing home
And the birds hadnt settled in their nests
Amidst these splashed the sparklimg drops
The drops of godliness
The silver threads of heavenliness
Imparting liveliness to frozen minds
Spreading the message of earthly joy
Quenching the thirst of dry fields
Rain,the companion of birds and trees
Rain ,the chum from nature
Hum a tune and soothe thy mind
A tune for poetic minds
Showers of blessing fall on thee
Lovely splatters of earthly glee

This poem is written by my daughter aged 15 years....today we were sitting in d balcony watching rains and suddenly she set about writing these words....
