    Kudos and prayers to you.
    Be strong and think of legal seperation, though you practically don't have to rush through it.

    You may feel lonely at times. But focus a lot on career and your kid. And make sure you have a hobby or a pass time that keeps yuo absolutely happy and engaged.

    You have created a conducive environment for your child to grow up in a peaceful setting. At least, you don't have to worry every single day of fixing someone who possible could be a wrong role model. You had great patience and tried everything possible and gave him enough time to fix himself. He appears to be an habitual offender having no respect for the marriage leave alone having any value.

    Now that you are well settled and ready to lead a happy and peaceful life, you formally communicate with him that you have no intention to live with him and seek a formal separation. I wish you a very happy, peaceful and stress free life.

    All your wishes and matured suggestions have made me a strong person. There were days where my friends where I could vent were you all ILs and only you.

    For those who said I stayed too long : yes absolutely I stayed this long and made every effort and got quite practical to let go and look forward in life and make the marriage work.

    it was not a breakup anymore, the other person just acted like a jerk till I could not take it anymore and I walked out. :)
