    Hi,

Many of us buy peeled garlics from shops since we find it irksome to peel it.
I am giving a tip for easy peeling of Garlics.

Just seggregate each pearl from the bunce. Just cut of the root portion and sink it in a bowl of water for some time. Now try to peel of and you will find it easy.
May be in case you are peeling it for immediate use then cut the pearls into two and then soak in water and then peel it.

    Hi
Some time back me and hubby happen to watch a video from sharing.."how to peel skin of garlic pods",its funny while watching but at that weekend hubby insisted me to give a try,so HERE
Im giving even more simplest version.
Place the whole pod in glass/plastic jar, close the lid tightly, and shake, shake,shake.viola.DONE.
within few minutes you will have separated skin and clove. :cool2:

Instead,You can use two stainless steel bowls, one bigger, one smaller that fits into the former.
Place the pods, cover it,hold the upper part tightly and shake.

    try and you will :) :) :)

    Thanks.

I Tried doing that with a plastic jar, but it was not full success.
I was shaking the jar for about 5 min and then finally little bit of the outer skin came out and it was bit easy.

How long do we need to shake the jar with garlic pods???

An easier way is just to microwave the garlic pods for a couple of seconds, the peels come off easy !

I saw this method in a YouTube video ideal for crushed garlic. Separate the garlic cloves and cut a little at the thick end. Use a broad knife and press the garlic pods with the broad surface of the knife. The pods are slightly crushed and skin easy to be removed.
