Legs are swollen, and feel uneasy with growing belly..

 

@sumalynux - yeah i am on restricted activity. i am working from home these days.
i had swollen legs...but now it got all drained..keep your legs up so that will help..

did you start your maternity leave..

Good that you are on WFH.. Wish you a safe delivery.

Today had 30weeks scan, doctor confirmed i have BP and has given tablets.

May be thats why i had swollen legs from 2 weeks, yes tried propping up legs
while sleeping today, swelling has come down.. Doctor also suggested to
drink Barley Kanji for Swelling.


Since mine was FET Pregnancy i am doing WFH from day one..
Since i am working from 5yrs in same company, they have given
Work from home for entire 9 months, so will put maternity leave
the day baby is born, so i can use entire 3months Maternity leave
spending with Baby..

 

@sumalynux...yeah wish you the same..good that you got WFH from Day 1. Do you know from when lactation will start...also what are you gals planning to reduce the tummy after delivery...

I have increased weight big time, i have already put on 12kgs till date.


And i was never slim even before pregnancy. So i was telling my dh
that i will wait for 2months after delivery as its cesarean, and will
aim at yummy mummy with good bmi by child's first birthday.
He was making fun. (And in mind i decided i should prove it. Let me try)


Happyperson one more thing, do you have/had BP during pregnancy ?

It was diagnosed only by 30weeks for me, 6more weeks to go.
As of now doc have asked to check bp twice a day before adjusting dose.

You said you got swelling reduced, apart from Propping legs and Barleykanji
did you do anything which helped to reduce swelling for you ?

 

@sumalynux...i m diabetic and on insulin...BP had been normal till now...
for me swelling was there as i was sitting long hours and once i started making sure i lie down in between for couple of hours, it helped...

yeah reducing weight after delivery would be the next goal to achieve

 

Hi ladies am 35 weeks 6 days current ly and getting pains and contractions on and off. Tomo 36 th week will start. I m having a good time in my native. Once 36 week startd then it is considered as full term right ??


@happyperson: hope u remember abt my spotting episode. If baby is fine you need not have to worry I guess. Take care dear. Which week you are in.


My baby weighed 2.2kgs at 33 weeks scan. Hence baby is bigger now.

37 weeks is considered as full term. Hence my doctor is planning
my C section at 37weeks.(will decide in 33 weeks scan which is in july 21st)
