    You can pick a gift based on her interests or hobbies. If she likes to read then books, kitchen appliances if she needs any. Or take her out for lunch.

    Buy her a gold pendant,it neednt be expensive ,maybe a small one of her fav god like lakshmi or ganapati.Or else give her something usefull in the kitchen like a microwave or a food processor.

    if she likes jewellery u can buy real pearls jewellery...it looks beautiful and not so expensive....if she is religious then u can give her some beautiful god idol....may be some kitchen appliance if she is fond of cooking....crockery loving people always welcome beautiful crockery...a beautiful bedsheet set always a hit as people are not so particular in choice abt bedsheets as their clothes so normally it is used by people...if she is fond of decorating the house then gud showpiece or painting...

    u can make a pack of perfume, creams, shampoo etc....
