Welcome to Indusladies.

Its definitely easier if you have a car. There is not a lot of public transportation available in Schaumburg and it does not rank high on the walkability factor.

Hi Ladies,

We are planning to move to IVL this May 1st. I have 2 kids who need to go to 7th and 5th grade. I think they will go to Glen Ellyn middle and Park View elementary. Does anyone have kids studying there already?

What is IVL?

What information do you need about the schools? Is there something specific that you need to know about these schools?

We stay in the Lakes of Schaumburg apartments near IVL. Im looking for a playschool/ daycare for my 2.5 year old daughter. We moved in recently and I haven't started driving yet and my husband leaves for office very early in the morning. So proximity is an important factor. Kindercare is near our apartment but I find the fees to be a bit on the higher side.

If anyone has any information, please help me out.

All the preschools in Schaumburg have high fees which came as a shock to me. You can probably car-pool until you start driving or send to kindercare for a few days in a week.
