    Hi all,

I'm back after a short break:) This was the menu for my 3 yr old boy for y'day:

Breakfast: 100 ml milk with horlicks, bowl of cornflakes (with left-over horlicks poured in), handful of raisins (his handful), 1 strawberry
mid-morning snack: 2 wafer biscuits, juice (he drank 200 ml diluted pear juice in one shot.. it was very humid!)
lunch: mini idlis with ghee, yogurt and spinach koottu
afternoon snack (in nursery)... they had muffins and apples
evening (on the way home): 1 scoop vanilla ice-cream and a croissant
because of the above dinner was a struggle but we managed some curd rice with rasam as side-dish:) no bed-time milk accepted!

today until lunch time: breakfast was 150 ml milk with strawberry flavor (we get a flavored powder with vitamins), 2 toasts with butter
mid-morning snack: 2 pieces of apple, biscuit and juice
lunch: rasam rice with ridge-gourd dhal and yogurt (water to drink... finally he skipped juice with lunch today!)

shvap: i'm really impressed that your child manages ragi at 6 am... super-mom and super-kid:)

Sushmita, your menu is interesting. Matta arisi, I have heard is very healthy. Can you make it soft???

Welcome back Latha...How are you feeling? This is what I fed my kid yesterday

Breakfast around 7 am : Milk, few almonds, cereal
Lunch around 11 am : Rasam rice and curd rice with spinach masiyal
Evening snack around 3 pm: Milk, a few pieces of apple and crackers
Dinner around 7 pm: Ven Pongal with spinach and curd rice with spinach masiyal( my son loves spinach, maybe because of the colour, he seems to like all green stuffs like coriander chutney, while thinks any red chutney is hot and refuses to even taste bonk )

    Hi Gayathri,
It is very healthy that your son eats all green stuff especially spinach.
My daughter is also very fond of spinach some time back. Now she refuses
to eat. I think their preferences change. I will try your vellaiyappam.

    Here is my today`s menu

    Early morning --- Whole milk
Breakfast --- 2 slices of apple, horsegram dosa(1/4th) and yogurt
Lunch ---- Rice, okra moorkuzhambu and yogurt
    Dinner ---- Yet to plan
