I read that, too, and I laughed. Especially about how she got caught. Sounds like she always served it fresh? She had her expectations for her married life which they chose to interfere in. She interfered in their expectations for tea.

 

i still think elders should be respected ... all humans in fact ... and sort things out in a dignified way ... the badder they are .. our good behaviour will surely change them sooner or later ...

 

Someday she is going to be in her in laws position. All bad deeds get paid in one worse way or the other.

Nah!!!...bad people don't change...they just give you a good conduct certificate when the thoughts of after life troubles them......but urine in the tea doesn't change them either.

My maid told me a story which happened in her village. Some drunkard kept beating his wife daily. One fine day she got so angry she caught a large lizard, the one's they call 'ona' in villages, cut it up,added masala, fried it n gave it to the drunkard! He happily chomped it n finished it off without any Ill effects.. N he's still fit as a fiddle n busy beating her up.
