This shows graphically the yearning all living creatures have to be felt loved and cared for .This little foal feels so secure cuddling with a TEDDY BEAR ....just can't figure out why its own mother disowned such a sweet little babe......We've heard of post partum blues among humans ,...never thought the animal kingdom also fell prey to this sad syndrome. Breeze and Buttons Hours after his birth, this new-born foal was found stumbling around by a farmer. The foal had been abandoned by his mother so the farmer took him to the Devon-based Mare and Foal Sanctuary where they cared for him and named him Breeze. What happened next is heart-warming. One of the staff put a four-foot giant Teddy Bear, they called Buttons, in the stall with Breeze. The foal was instantly attracted to the teddy bear and found it a comforting replacement for his mother. The two are inseparable. The caregivers expect Breeze to be fine, thanks to the farmer who rescued him, and to those who cared enough to take in this little cutie. Special thanks to Buttons, too. "There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
