what's ur insulin / sugar level before pregnancy ??
are you on metformin before pregnancy ?
now how you are coping with it ?

am on metform500mg thrice a day before preg.
now reduced to twice a day.

would like to hear about ur food pattern ...

 

@happyperson - my daughter is 5 years old. My scan is postponed from weekend to next Tuesday. So she will not be able to join us for the scan

I have heard elders saying to sleep on the sides, that too preferably your left side. I follow the same and turn to right side when I feel uneasy. But never sleep on my back.

@abinayamadhavan - I had the scan in mediscan mylapore during my first delivery. It was heavily crowded and it took almost one whole day. So doing it in my current hospital this time. Hope LO cooperates well and doesnt take much time. Keeping fingers crossed.

@dars - I too feel tired and sleepy all through the day. But during night I wake up around 2:30 and dont get to sleep until 5-5:30. Hope we will come out of this phase slowly, once we cross the 12 weeks. My NT scan is scheduled on 3rd Feb.

hi

I was supposed to go scan jan 12th for 6 weeks scan, but previous night I started bleeding almost one full pad. Called doc immediately she said not to panic n take trappic injection n tablet for 3days n come scan after that. I did that.

scan showed baby's heartbeat and doc said everything looks fine, and bleeding is common for some people who did ivf.

after that started staying at moms no internet there..

i now completed 8 weeks 4days, did 8 weeks scan, and everything looked normal with baby's heartbeat. Next scan is at 12 weeks 3days for NT scan.

feel bit relieved now. Praying daily for safe pregnancy.

@mrithulanaren - yes i am type 2 diabetic. I am on Metformin 1000 mg twice a day. I would need to stop Metformin at 14 weeks. I will be switching to Insulin. Humalog and Lantus. Doctor mentioned it is safe to take Insulin rather than dieting. What about you? I see you are 16+ weeks. How are you managing.

@sumalynux - Happy to hear all good now. Yes spotting is common with IVF pregnancy. It depends on the number of embryos transferred. Now be relaxed. Once heartbeat detected risk reduces to less than 5%. Eat healthy and take care. Dont stress much. All the best for your NT scan!

i will post on my blood test results after feb 7th.

is anybody getting back pain. i get whenever i do some household chores. or running behind my son. but i had lots of backpain in my prev pregnancy (my son).

 

@abinayamadhavan I have back pain and it is kind of continuous. Currently I have take a month off from wok wonder what will it be once I get back to work!!

I am scheduled for Nt on 16... Just cant wait...

 

@Nmarathamorab: don't worry. i had continuous back pain for 3 months with my son. this time its on and off. drink more water. it will help definitely. if you have urinary infection also you may get back pain.

 

I have cough and wheezing problem from yesterday:bonk


Doc suggested Citrizine one per day for 3days.

Other than that i am doing Rasam, Steam, vicks rubbing..

Feel very exhausted, top to it i have food aversion.

Not able to eat anything much...

 

for cold and cough- have pure honey. even i had severe cold plus nose blockage twice in the 2nd month. almost whole month. i took honey for cold. it stopped the cough and reduced the cold. i used nasal drops for blockage. i didnt take any medicines.

i boiled dried ginger (not much) with corainder seeds, drumstick leaves and palm sugar and had this coffee during night times.
